I haven’t added to this blog in over a year. And had I remembered to savour at least one little thing to that matters each day, it may have been a less stressful and happier year and a half. My apologies. Let’s give it another shot.

It’s the world cup here in South Africa and the vuvuzelas won’t let you forget it I’m no real football/soccer fan myself but seeing the excitement of everyone around is enough to make me a fan for a month or so.

Two small things to note for the day (because I have some catching up to do):
I am truly grateful for being in a country as tolerant, caring and diverse in culture, race and religion, as South Africa.

And having the opportunity to see the even more different people coming to visit from all over the world, the ability to hear their different accents and languages – languages I didn’t even know existed – is an honour and exciting! Viva South Africa and Viva the World!
